Friends...Fellowship...Fun

December in a flash...
This month has been wonderful.  I have found myself surrounded by people I love almost on a daily basis.  I have been so blessed and I am so blessed and continue to be blessed!  When I look back over the 10 years I have been in Maryland (I never thought I'd be here this long), and I am so glad God kept me here.  Over the years, God has provided such great families for me to be a part of, and  honestly I feel as if I have one huge family, and if I wanted to have everyone over, there wouldn't be enough room, a good problem to have.

This month also has been a month of reflection and cherishing the time I have with friends.  The time is getting closer for me to head out to Colombia, South America.

December began with Caroling, not once but twice a couple weeks a part.  There was no snow on the ground and the first night wasn't even cold. We sure had fun singing and bringing the Good News of Jesus to those around us through music.  The next time was a bit chilly, yet no snow, and a lot of fun.

It's good to sing and make music to the Lord.

In mid December, friends of mine hosted an open house for me, to share more about my journey to Colombia, South America.  It was such a blessing to have the support of such great friends and enjoy an evening together.
How well do you know the continent of South America?
Would you be able to put a puzzle together, right on the spot?
With a lot of laughter, smiles, teamwork, and a little bit of help...they managed to put it together with only a few country names mixed up.  It was a great evening filled with great friends and great joy.

The Christmas week, I was able to enjoy an afternoon with the Martin's in DC, where my Uncle Alden gave us a tour of the Library of Congress with some special bonuses, we enjoyed a free concert at the Kennedy Center and a quick dinner at Burger Tap and Shake.

It's hard to believe 2015 is about to end and the new adventures of 2016 are to begin.  This year has been such an amazing year of seeing God work and go before me in so many ways.  I am so blessed to be on this journey, a journey trusting the Lord and having Him as my guide.  I look forward to His guidance and provision in 2016!

Happy New Year!
