Little Blessings = Big Blessings

Ever take the time to just sit outside and listen to the sounds around you.  To look at the beauty around you.  Today I did just that.  I went to the park, sat near a tree, listened to the sounds, marvelled at God's beauty around me, read my Bible, and wrote in my journal. Have you ever thought that the wind is a blessing...it cools you off on a hot day...it spreads seeds, you can't see it, but you can hear the sound of the wrestling tree leaves, or as it howls in the night when it moves against things...the wind, a blessing in many ways. How about color...colors are an amazing gift.  Imagine a life without  orange, red, purple, pink or yellow, the different flowers, or the different shades of green on the mountain top or the grass around us...brown...it's a color not many of us think as nice, but ever take the time to look at the bark of trees, it's wonderful if you ask me, to know that God created all these colors.  Or black in the dark sky which allows us to see

The Deep, constant, flowing Love!

"O the Deep Deep Love of Jesus vast unmeasured boundless Free" The sound of the ocean tide that roars and breaks on the shore is one of my favourite.  It's wild, never the same, some waves are huge while others are small, but it always does the same thing...crashes on the shore and gentle flows up the shore and back down. As I was sitting on the shore watching the tide, I couldn't stop thinking about of the Love of Jesus that is constant, always around me, vast, unmeasured, boundless, and free...I love watching the waves begin...they start out small and gradually grow and then it crashes on the shore, gently covering the sand and then it is pulled away and starts all over again.   I looked at those waves and saw my sin...my sin that starts small and then it grows, then when I seek forgiveness, Christ forgives me and my sin is washed clean and He covers me with His gentle love, and I begin again.. seeing my sin...repenting...and being forgiven.  He draws m
