We're Back! Mini Pete and Pals...August in a Flash!

Hi, I am mini Pete (the handsome yellow lab) I am Tiger ( the one with the black stripes) I am Charlie ( the lovable German Shepherd) We all travel with Kimia, in her little purse.  We've been to Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama and Guatemala.  Do you know where all those countries are?  You should find a globe or map and take a look.  Together we have been in four countries. Mini Pete, however,  started his adventures way before us, his travels include, the Philippines, Mexico, and Israel.  We came together as a team just this year and we have enjoyed our time.   It's been quite awhile, since we, the threesome have made an appearance.  Kimia often forgets us when she goes out, and therefore we miss many adventures, or she takes us and forgets we are with her and other times we actually make an appearance.  We all went to Guatemala in August for her visa renewal.  It was very relaxing and fun.  Just what Kimia needed before classes began again. Fun lessons to learn in Costa Rica

Lesson #1 - Be Prepared to Be WET Always, Always bring your umbrella with you, especially during rainy season.  You never know when it just might pour!   This is a lesson I am still learning, as I tend to forget my umbrella much of the time and I end up getting wet.  However, even with an umbrella and poncho you'll get soaked! Kirsten and I walking in the rain or should I say hurricane like rain Lesson #2- The Bus The bus is by far the cheapest way to get around and it's rather easy.  Make sure you have change, wait for the person in front of you to pay before you step in the bus, unless the driver tells you otherwise, always hold your things in front of you, and it's not wise to play on your phone, keep it hidden as much as possible.  Don't take the bus at night, get an über instead.  There are several bus stations around where you can buy tickets for a trip to the beach or other locations, prices are reasonable.  If you don't have a car, this is the way
