School is out...Now What.?
For many people, there is count down when it's close to the end of school, the marking of calendars, the excitement of no homework, last day parties, and then graduation for those leaving...and then reality hits...changes once again. There are always changes...
Here at language school, the changes happen every 4 months when students graduate and are sent to their country of ministry. It's exciting to see this accomplishment and yet sad for all of us because we are all saying goodbye- or see ya later to the friendships we have made.
But right now it's Christmas Season, and it's a season for Joy, Thanksgiving and Hope...I just think how awesome it is that there are so many missionaries going to so many different parts of the world to proclaim, teach and share the Good NEWS of Jesus Christ! That he was born for a great purpose, to rescue and save us, to show us the way, to bring us all to Himself...so we too can have life in Him and share eternity with Him. How beautiful is that! I hope this Christmas I have some opportunities to do just that...share the wonderful news of Jesus!
This year I have the opportunity to spend Christmas in Costa Rica. It's always fun to learn about traditions in different countries as they celebrate different holidays. I hope to enjoy a few traditional things. A parade or two, maybe a concert, the fair...we are out of school now, so I can go explore and visit different places and see Costa Rica and experience the culture.
Let the exploring begin! It's vacation!!
So school is out...it's now time to explore!
Now if this rain would just stop...and the sun would shine...exploring could happen:) or get wet while exploring:)
