The adventures of Mini-Pete and Pals!
Exploring, climbing, hiding, is what we, Mini-Pete, Charlie and Tiger enjoy doing. We've had some great adventures...Before we begin...let me officially introduce ourselves.
As we were walking along, we came across this hollow shell. It looks like a coconut shell. I sure hope there are no scary creatures inside it as Tiger looks inside the dark hole. Have you ever had the meat of the coconut right out of the shell? You should really try it. I hear it's the only coconut Kimia will eat.
As we have done some exploring, we've seen beautiful flowers, lizards, iguanas, monkey's, sloths, a snake, plenty of butterflies, Macaws, Toucans, crabs and let's not forget mosquitos.
Here we are at a suspension bridge. Those holes were nearly big enough that we could have fallen through. So thankful we didn't. And look at those mountains and how beautiful it is.
"Tiger, do you know where Charlie is?"
"Charlie is hanging out with a little boy in our group. He seems to really enjoy having a friend."
"I am sure that Charlie is enjoying his company also."
We are having so much fun! It's not everyday we get to climb in trees and see some amazing tree roots. It may not look like it, but Tiger is hiding in the roots somewhere.
When wondering around in the woods, there are some great places to hide. Keep searching, we have confidence that you will find us, we are all in both of these pictures.
Charlie, Tiger and I, have really enjoyed sharing these pictures with you. I hope you have enjoyed playing "I spy Mini-Pete and Pals." It's not over yet though...there is one more place we went. Take a guess at which country it is by the pictures. The answer will come shortly in another post, so stay tuned...
"Hello, Hello, is anyone there? We are looking for more adventures. Do you have any ideas?"
The yellow lab- that is me Mini-Pete, Tiger is in the middle and Charlie is the German Shepherd |
The journey of Mini-Pete just began with me, years ago traveling by myself. However a year ago, I was told you need a friend to travel with, so Charlie came on board. Charlie and I both came from the same home- so it was nice to catch up after several years and it was very kind of Shelly to give us both to Kimia.
This is Kimia-an adventurous, fun and loving person. The fact that she takes two little dogs and tiger with her about every where she goes..tell you that she is young at heart |
.
You see, Kimia is quite adventurous and we really enjoy traveling with her. To be honest, you never really know what your getting into until you spend a lot of time with her...Once, I mini-Pete took a swim in Lake Victoria in Africa. Yes, I had a harness, thanks to Uncle Tom, and Kimia made sure that it was snug, but she was still a little hesitant, however, I took the plunge, and I didn't get eaten by a big fish. And I was put on the edge of the bank, while waves were splashing around, thank goodness for quick hands. I have been placed by huge spiders, just asked Kimia about those times. Sometimes Kimia's friends will take me on adventures also. That's how I ended up by those huge spiders. I, Mini-Pete have traveled to Israel, the Philippines, Mexico, Colombia and many states in the USA by myself with Kimia.
Now I have started a new journey with my friends Tiger and Charlie. Tiger came on board when Charlie and I got lost. (To be honest, Kimia lost us). Because of Tiger's great senses, Kimia knew he was the right animal for the job of searching for me and Charlie. He did a great job. It didn't take too long. When we arrived in Colombia, South America, Tiger went into search mode. He looked high and low and found us in the suitcase. Kimia put us there so she wouldn't forget us, yet she just forgot where she put us. So we are thankful for Tiger and happy to have him along with us.
We are all in Costa Rica now. And we have had a great time. Tiger is really enjoying Costa Rica because of the rain forests, the trees remind him much of home. There are so many adventures we have had, that we decided to share with you some of them by playing "I spy Mini-Pete and Pals." Most of these pictures have all of us in them, however there are few that have just one or two of us. Some are difficult and some are very easy, so all ages can play. I hope you enjoy. And the game begins now...

"Hello, Hello, is anyone there? We are looking for more adventures. Do you have any ideas?"
Good morning, how are you?
ReplyDeleteMy name is Emilio, I am a Spanish boy and I live in a town near to Madrid. I am a very interested person in knowing things so different as the culture, the way of life of the inhabitants of our planet, the fauna, the flora, and the landscapes of all the countries of the world etc. in summary, I am a person that enjoys traveling, learning and respecting people's diversity from all over the world.
I would love to travel and meet in person all the aspects above mentioned, but unfortunately as this is very expensive and my purchasing power is quite small, so I devised a way to travel with the imagination in every corner of our planet. A few years ago I started a collection of used stamps because through them, you can see pictures about fauna, flora, monuments, landscapes etc. from all the countries. As every day is more and more difficult to get stamps, some years ago I started a new collection in order to get traditional letters addressed to me in which my goal was to get at least 1 letter from each country in the world. This modest goal is feasible to reach in the most part of countries, but unfortunately, it is impossible to achieve in other various territories for several reasons, either because they are very small countries with very few population, either because they are countries at war, either because they are countries with extreme poverty or because for whatever reason the postal system is not functioning properly.
For all this, I would ask you one small favor:
Would you be so kind as to send me a letter by traditional mail from Colombia? I understand perfectly that you think that your blog is not the appropriate place to ask this, and even, is very probably that you ignore my letter, but I would call your attention to the difficulty involved in getting a letter from that country, and also I don’t know anyone neither where to write in Colombia in order to increase my collection. a letter for me is like a little souvenir, like if I have had visited that territory with my imagination and at same time, the arrival of the letters from a country is a sign of peace and normality and an original way to promote a country in the world. My postal address is the following one:
Emilio Fernandez Esteban
Avenida Juan de la Cierva, 44
28902 Getafe (Madrid)
Spain
If you wish, you can visit my blog www.cartasenmibuzon.blogspot.com where you can see the pictures of all the letters that I have received from whole World.
Finally, I would like to thank the attention given to this letter, and whether you can help me or not, I send my best wishes for peace, health and happiness for you, your family and all your dear beings.
Yours Sincerely
Emilio Fernandez
